The Matetsi Victoria Falls team stands together with those globally affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our guests and our team remains, as always, paramount, and we therefore closely monitor the World Health Organisation’s updates, follow its guidelines, and have laid out and follow strict COVID-19 protocols. Furthermore, we have put in place very flexible booking terms so that you can book and travel with confidence.
For travellers who are fully vaccinated and present their valid vaccination certificate, no PCR test is required. Non-vaccinated travellers are required to present a negative PCR test done within 48 hours of departure to Zimbabwe (if the journey involves an overnight e.g. in Dubai or Johannesburg, an additional PCR test will be required). Please download our updated Travel Guidelines document for full information which includes the standard regulations as well as general traveller feedback of airport experiences.
Kindly note, international arrivals into Zimbabwe will be requested to complete Traveller Surveys, which consist of a 1-page document and a 2-page document, downloadable here as a single PDF. We recommend downloading this and printing these ahead of travel.
