Combine the best of all Southern Africa’s experiences for the ultimate honeymoon or romantic getaway. Start on the wild Whale Coast before continuing to the city of Cape Town, followed by Victoria Falls, and finally wrap it up in Zambia.
Start your journey on South Africa’s Whale Coast at one of the most untouched beachside paradises, Grootbos. There’s nothing more romantic than seclusion, and here you’ll feel like you’re the only ones left on the planet. Journey on to Cape Town to be amazed by her cosmopolitan city life, endless beaches, stately Table Mountain, and carpets of vineyards.
Escape the buzz of the city to find refuge and more quality alone time in Victoria Falls to admire the largest waterfall on earth coupled with a first-class safari experience. Finally, end it off in South Luangwa, with landscapes and wildlife views to make your heart sing. As honeymoons or anniversaries go, this journey is one for the books.
A world of its own, Grootbos is an award-winning, five-star eco-friendly escape. Located around the Southern tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, the ecosystem is incredibly unique, including 868 plant species and three milkwood forests over 1,000 years old. Here you will feel the most immersed in nature you’ve ever felt, surrounded by mountains, forest, and the ocean but living in absolute luxury. It’s the ultimate romantic setting.
Everything about Steinway Suite at 21 Nettleton oozes grand luxury, with ample space and high-end finishes. The view is what steals the show, however. From sipping sundowners on the terrace to enjoying a bubble bath, you are ideally positioned to soak in the view of the mountains and ocean. You also have your own private library, lounge, and dining area — complete with a Steinway grand piano.
At Matetsi Victoria Falls, it’s all about the small moments we like to refer to as Matesti Magic. And a honeymoon or romantic getaway requires an extra dose of magic. Here romance takes centre stage, with glittering river views, private plunge pools, and gazing into each other’s eyes during star-lit dinners.
It was the Gardiner family’s vision to showcase everything exceptional about their home country, Zimbabwe. This was realised by shining a light on local artisans and creating a conservation legacy for future generations. From the distinctly African interior design to the warm hospitality our home soil is known for, Matesti Victoria Falls is the ultimate base for exploring the Falls and wildlife-packed landscapes. Here you will experience riverside living at its finest, with the mighty Zambezi lulling you to sleep.
Effortlessly blending luxury with respect for Mother Nature, Chinzombo offers a sophisticated, low-impact wildlife escape. Located in the heart of the thriving Luangwa National Park, you have direct access to its incredibly diverse landscapes and wildlife. With ultra-romantic experiences on offer, such as a sleepout under the stars, soaking in your tub overlooking the plains, or appreciating the delicate balance of nature on a walking safari, Chinzombo is the perfect final chapter on your romantic journey.
