Set on a private 15 km stretch of the mighty Zambezi – meaning “The Great River” in the local Tonga language – you will find our award-winning safari lodge and luxury villa.
Just 40 km upriver from the rush and spray of the Victoria Falls, Matetsi Victoria Falls offers an idyllic oasis from which to explore, adventure, relax and recharge. Situated within our own 136,000-acre pristine wilderness, Matetsi Private Game Reserve, we offer the most private and exclusive experience in the Victoria Falls area.
Matetsi Victoria Falls is less than a 45 min drive from Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). The property is also accessible by road transfer from Livingstone (Zambia) and Kasane (Botswana). Complimentary arrival and departure road transfers are offered within the Victoria Falls area.
There is also a private helipad, and a private airstrip on property, respectively 2 minutes and 10 minutes drive from the lodge. Both are suitable for domestic charter arrivals. The helipad is just 15 minutes by direct helicopter transfer from Victoria Falls International Airport, or a scenic “Flight of the Angels” over the Falls and down the Zambezi river is a spectacular way to arrive into the destination.
